OPIS: Radiowy DJ Grant Mazzy zaczyna otrzymywać raporty o eskalacji przemocy w jego mieście oraz o tajemniczym wirusie, który zabija ludzi i wskrzesza ich jako zombie. Okazuje się, że wirus przenosi się przez ludzką mowę. We made this rip from PPV. The DVD isn't supposed to be out until later this month. There is a DVR timebar at the bottom of the screen for 3 seconds in the beginning, and the movie ends as soon as the credits start, so it's missing the credits. There is a small extra scene after the credits that's not essential to the plot of the movie, which is missing in this. If those things bother you, wait for a Scene release or retail DVD rip. So have fun with a pretty limited early release guys.
Plot:
A psychological thriller in which a deadly virus infects a small Ontario town. |
The flick is set in a radio station in Pontypool where one day the morning team starts taking reports of extreme, bloody incidents of violence occurring in town. As the story unfolds, the radio staff soon realizes the violence that is ripping society apart is due to a virus being spread through the English language. That in turn poses a problem for a yappy radio jock and his staff holed up in the broadcast booth housed in the basement of the town's abandoned church as a slaughter rages beyond its walls.
